This research aims to examine whether
the combination of coffee husk bokashi and husk charcoal is able to provide optimal results for the growth of robusta
coffee seedlings, as well as being a solution to overcoming the problem of land degradation due to excessive use of
topsoil. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with a single factor treatment, consisting of 8
treatments repeated with 3 repetitions each. The results of the research showed that the planting medium (soil + husk
charcoal + coffee skin bokashi) with a composition of (2:1:1) provided the best growth for Robusta coffee seedlings.
Rice husk charcoal and coffee husk bokashi are added to the soil medium top soil can be an alternative to reduce land
use top soil.
2025-06-26T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Agung Minhar, Edy Romza, Ummi Kalsumhttp://ejournal.iba.ac.id/index.php/PlantIBA/article/view/1052Minat Generasi Muda Dalam Melanjutkan Usaha Di Bidang Perkebunan Karet Di Desa Lalang Sembawa Kecamatan Sembawa2025-06-26T15:42:38+07:00Nurtitanurtita301@gmail.comM. The research location was determined purposively. The data used consist of primary and secondary data. The data collection method employed in this study was a survey method. The collected data were presented in tabular form and then analyzed systematically and statistically. The results show that the interest of the young generation in continuing rubber plantation farming in Lalang Sembawa Village falls into the "moderate" category. The factors influencing their interest include attraction, involvement, and desire. Efforts to increase the interest of the young generation can be made by involving them in rubber plantation activities in Lalang Sembawa Village.
2025-06-26T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nurtita, M. The research location was determined purposively, using both primary and secondary data, and analyzed qualitatively. The results show that farmers who have not implemented IP 200 face seven challenge factors, but only four have moderate to strong correlations: land area, farmer age, labor availability, and pest and disease incidence. Large land areas require more capital and labor. The predominance of elderly farmers poses constraints in terms of physical ability and motivation. Additionally, pests tend to attack IP 200 fields more frequently, increasing the risks. Meanwhile, farmers who have adopted IP 200 also face similar challenges. Of the seven factors, one shows a low correlation (farmer age), one has a strong correlation (labor availability), and five have very strong correlations: land area, land ownership status, labor availability, capital, and pest and disease incidence. These factors are interrelated, where larger land areas require more labor and capital to support the successful implementation of the IP 200 system.
2025-06-26T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Rico Syailendra, R.A Umikalsum, Nur Azmihttp://ejournal.iba.ac.id/index.php/PlantIBA/article/view/1051Perilaku Petani Hortikultura dalam Adopsi Kompos Sampah Kota Di Kecamatan Kotabumi Kabupaten Lampung Utara2025-06-26T15:50:58+07:00Dwi Ariantidwi.arianti@unja.ac.idRahmi Hidayati rahmihidayat@gmail.comNurul Iqamah Elzanuruliq@gmail.com
This study aims to determine the behavior of horticultural farmers in adopting municipal waste compost in Kotabumi District, North Lampung. The location was determined intentionally. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. The research method used is the survey method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and interviews. The method of processing and analyzing data uses a Likert scale scoring. The results of the study indicate that the level of behavior of horticultural farmers in adopting municipal waste compost is in the high category. This can be seen from the mode value of 7, namely the average use of municipal waste compost is 0.60 - 0.80 kg / m2.
2025-06-26T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Dwi Arianti, Rahmi Hidayati, Nurul Iqamah Elzahttp://ejournal.iba.ac.id/index.php/PlantIBA/article/view/1046Pengaruh Interaksi Jenis Media Tanam dan Konsentrasinya terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Terong (Solanum melongena L.) 2025-06-26T15:54:28+07:00Deby Tilaya Oktarina RGdebytilaya.dt@gmail.comKartika Putrikartikaputri1996.kp@gmail.comWidya Irmawatiwidya.agr@gmail.com
The main component of eggplant seedling success is the seedling media used, therefore this study aims
to determine the seedling media and its concentration that have a good effect on eggplant seedling
growth. The research method used is experimental. This study used a factorial Randomized Block
Design (RAK) with two factors, namely: the first factor is the type of planting media (Cocopet, Burnt
Husk, and Burnt Soil) and the second factor is the concentration of the planting media (1 = 100%, 2
= 75%, 3 = 50%, and 4 = 25%). Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times, so that there were
a total of 36 experimental units. The observation parameters were plant height, number of leaves, root
length, root weight and crown weight. The results showed that the interaction of treatments only
affected the height of seedlings in the 5th week. Treatment with 25% burnt soil, 25% husks, and 75%
husks produced the highest plant height.
2025-06-26T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Deby Tilaya Oktarina RG, Kartika Putri, Widya Irmawati
